Are you tired of attending fundraising trainings and webinars to get tips that just aren’t implementable for your mission? When you are fundraising for international development causes, a lot of the fundraising wisdom out there just isn’t for you. Your work isn’t local, so you can’t take donors on a site visit without incurring international airfare expenses. It may feel difficult to find donors who can relate to your cause.
Come learn about how to fundraise from someone who understands the challenges and has developed unique ways of growing international development organizations.
Kelly McLaughlin of From Scratch Fundraising spent over a decade fundraising for international development and advocacy organizations, and she knows what it takes to fundraise for hard-to-fundraise-for causes. In her first four years as a fundraiser, she grew an international advocacy organization’s individual giving program from $300,000 per year to $1 million per year, which in turn doubled its revenue from grants…more than tripling the size of the organization in just four years. And she did it in a way that was sustainable and took her staff from overwhelmed to in the zone!
As part of our new partnership, BNID members will receive a 25% discount on the Sustain & Thrive Learning Program, a nurturing, twelve-month journey for nonprofit leaders build and implement individual giving programs with a cohort of peers.
